Walsh to Host 2026 Senior Expo Aug. 11 at Misericordia University

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jamie Walsh (R-Luzerne) is inviting area senior citizens and their caregivers to his 2026 Senior Expo on Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Misericordia University’s Insalaco Hall.

The free expo will feature more than 30 vendors offering information and services for seniors. Several breakout sessions will be held on topics including cybersecurity, Silver Sneakers chair yoga, senior law, senior scams, Area Agency on Aging programs and how to avoid identity theft. The Pennsylvania Department of Treasury will be available to help attendees search for unclaimed property. Free hearing tests will also be available.

“Our seniors are a vital part of our community, and this expo highlights the services and opportunities available in our area to help them live their best possible lives,” said Walsh.
