I signed a discharge petition for House Resolution 281, which aims to force a vote on Senate Bill 9, a measure prohibiting biological men from competing in women's school-sponsored sports. This is a huge win for female athletes and parental rights! I am eager for the opportunity to approve the resolution.
All 102 House Democrats voted to table six amendments to House Bill 1100, which shared the goal of protecting benefits against abuse by illegal immigrants. In tabling these amendments, Democrats shut down the opportunity for debate, which is our chance to elevate your voice on the floor of the House chamber. Pennsylvania residents must come first.

On June 10, the House Children and Youth Committee passed House Bill 350, known as the Uniform Parentage Act. With too many concerns remaining unaddressed, I voted "no." This bill needs more work.
I believe we should require explicit parental consent for everything outside the parameters of basic education. This is why I proposed an amendment to House Bill 681 on the floor of the House chamber. Unfortunately, my amendment failed on party lines.
