About Jamie
Jamie is currently serving his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as state representative for the 117th Legislative District, which includes part of Luzerne County.
During the 2025-26 Legislative Session, Jamie has been appointed to serve on the House Children and Youth, Health, Housing and Community Development and State Government committees.
The issues Jamie plans to focus on as state legislator include property tax relief, election reform, parental rights, illegal immigration and protecting our freedoms under the Constitution.
Jamie was born in Luzerne County and spent his early years as a student in the Lake-Lehman School District prior to moving to Wilkes-Barre, where he attended Kistler Elementary and Meyers Junior/Senior High School. When he was 13 years old, Jamie visited his father in Anchorage, Alaska, and decided to stay there. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1993 and went on to attend Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.
Before being elected to the House, Jamie worked in the sales department of American Remodeling and quickly became the company’s top salesman at the age of 19. After spending several years in the home improvement sector, Jamie opted for a new challenge in the medical device industry. During his 12 years with the Comfort Company, Jamie was instrumental in building its bottom line from $3 million in sales to over $30 million, while rising to the position of vice president of sales. Most recently, Jamie was a small business owner in Luzerne County and had a reputation for outstanding customer service and quality of work.
Jamie is also involved in his community. He served as president of the Lake-Lehman Junior Knights and secretary of the Wyoming Valley Junior Football Conference. In 2021, Jamie co-founded and then became president of the Citizens Advisory of Pennsylvania, which is a statewide parent’s rights organization. The organization monitors, advises and collaborates with school boards concerning policy, curriculum and fiscal decisions. Jamie traveled to more than two dozen school districts across the Commonwealth to help parents fight for their rights, but his focus was primarily within Luzerne County.
Jamie lives in Sweet Valley with his wife, Nancy, and is the proud father of two children, Logan and Ava.
